Mankind has always found a lot of entertainment in bloody murder. From the gladiator fights of the Colosseum to violent video games to gory slasher flicks, we love ourselves a bit of the old ultraviolence.
With that in mind, it’s surprising how long it took to create a video game based around asymmetrical PvP, set amongst a cavalcade of horror movie tropes. We should have twigged how popular a game like Dead by Daylight would be ages ago.
But still, better late than never, and now we get to enjoy a bit of murder, bloody murder with our friends, family and loved ones—and occasionally strangers from the world wide web.
I love it—I don’t know about you guys, but there’s something far more inherently scary about playing a game where the monster chasing you is another person rather than just an AI. Really adds that heart-thumping unpredictability.

That’s why I usually play Dead by Daylight with a drink at hand. This drink, specifically. It’s a margarita variation with that wonderful combo of tequila, lime and Cointreau, but with a splash of raspberry simple to kick up the sweetness, add a stab of tart, and, of course, spatter a little crimson into the equation.
Much like Dead by Daylight itself, this is best enjoyed with other friendly survivors, so be prepared to make up a batch to spread around the liquid courage for the night ahead.
Hope you guys enjoy!
